(Don’t) Smoke ‘em if You Got ‘em
The vaping trend has caught on quickly with more and more people replacing their traditional tobacco products for a vape pen. The vaping industry has also seemed to target a younger, different audience than cigarettes due to their marketing angle of being “better for you than smoking” and interesting flavors. Vaping has even been allowed in no-smoking zones such as restaurants and even schools. However, Governor Jerry Brown has just signed legislation to consider vaping a tobacco product, giving it much stricter laws about where they can be used. The legal age for purchasing tobacco products has also been raised to 21, making California the second state, Hawaii being the first, to do so.
